HI, I’M JAKE.

I’m a creative from the Gold Coast. More specifically, I’m a writer and designer.

I’m the author of ‘A Man Above the Reef’ — a creative memoir about Australian surfer Taj Burrow. It features in Lines to the Horizon: Australian Surf Writing published by Fremantle Press in 2021.

In 2024, I completed a PhD with Griffith University. I’m currently tutoring at Southern Cross University, and employed as a Creative Strategist at Everyday Massive.
